I am trying to sync my blog articles under a page called news and cant figure it out.

Are you adding these blog articles to a category? If not, you can add them to a category called "News" and the category page itself can serve as the new page.

Ive added my category to my new menu but it doesn't show on the top of my site to click on where a new page would show up

I'm seeing the News link in your menu, with one article showing in the category.
