On my site i have a link on the features page to "Find in Australia"
On this page i have links to 4 or 5 other pages. However i don't want them appearing directly underneath the links up the top of the page, but rather within the body of text that i can edit.
Is this possible?

Also along these lines, can i create a sort of main/parent page without it appearing up the top on my feature page next to the home button?

can you provide us some live links?
Also, you might try the 'exclude pages' plugin and maybe the 'pagemash' plugin to accomplish your page management needs.
