I am unable to translate the "Search" text in the search box. This was not previously a problem, so I think it started with the latest Pagelines update.
I have read posts about this problem in this forum, but they leave me none the wiser. Is the problem that Pagelines overwrites the local translation of the search box text? I must say that even though I like Pagelines, I am very annoyed if this is the case. If Pagelines is meant to be a product aimed at an international audience, making it very hard to translate text -- and what's more, text that is translated by the Wordpress language file -- is simply unacceptable.

Hi Yngve,
Pagelines Framework does not overwrite the local translation of the search box. What you are seeing is the Pagelines Framework search box and not the WordPress search box .
To translate Pagelines Framework text, install the localisation files.
How to do this, please read this announcement Simon made (at the top of this forum): , this should cover all questions regarding this.
If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks, that solved it. I didn't know the language file had to be in the pagelines-customize directory.
