This was answered for another individual but the solution was tailored to his setup. This should work for everyone I think.
If you have WHP3 with the Feature Page - Standard and want to not have the body of the text or sidebar use:
This should probably roll up into the Feature Setup screen instead of having to manually CSS it out.

I'm wondering how I can apply this to another page, other than the home page. I would like to just show the feature boxes on one of the pages on my site.

You can actually set this on the Page editor options. Scroll down the page and you'll see it

This isn't in the normal options. This is when editing a specific page, if you scroll down you'll see many individual options just for that page.
