Hello Pagelines-Team,

sind a few weeks we have some problems with our layout. The problem appears only with mozilla firefox 8 and google chrome, with Iexlorer everything looks ok.

Our Sidebar is not located on the right side, it appears below the blog in the footer. I disabled all plugins but no effect at all.

Would be great to get some help to fix our problem.

Often this is the result of a markup issue. In this case, it looks like a missing end div tag, or something similar. Please try validating your site through the W3C validator to make sure there are no markup errors.

hi and thanks for your answer. I validated the page and w3c found 19 errors.

The problem is, I dont know were i got these erorrs from and how to fix them.

Maybe you can help me how to fix these erorrs?

These errors can result from upgrades to plugins, WordPress, etc. Often, they're conflicts in plugins or bad coding in them. I have checked your site in three browsers (the ones you specified) and it looks perfect to me. This happened also on my site and the condition was temporary.

The problem lies within the post that is directly above where the sidebars appear, at or around the last word that appears in the excerpt. You have something that uses formatting (meaning , etc tags) near that word. Move whatever that is somewhere else and it will display fine. This is a Wordpress issue with how excerpts are handled.

Simple_mama, could you elaborate a bit more on how to fix this. I have the same problem, it just started when I made a new post. didn't update anything..
