I want to change my permalinks to be relative to the page name rather than date time or page I'd,
For example page is called products:
Therefore should appear as www.cocogreen.co.uk/products
I have tried a few custom rules before but they have either not worked or created all but my home pages to turn to 404 errors.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Bevj is correct, but the recommended setting should include the post ID at the end. Google and other searches seem to find this works best.
/%postname%/%post_id%

Glad to have helped! You'll find that permalink structure will also yield great benefits in search engines and traffic to your site.
