It looks like you're using the 'feature page - page content' page template.
This actually loads the content and sidebar instead of the feature boxes.

I'm having the same problem - just getting empty boxes and I am already using the 'featurepage - default' template. Any other tips?

Ugh. I just spent hours (for the second time in two days) setting up all of my feature boxes to have them completely disappear with an error.
The back up did not work.

I'm guessing it might me a Safari issue. Will switch to Firefox and have another go at it on Thursday.

You are correct, there is safari issue (or theme bug) where they fill in the url for you.
If you navigate to the redirect url (Safari auto fills this) your feature options can be wiped out...
Very sorry about the problem, The next update to the theme will fix this.

The safari issue is separate from the original post issue however; to address this... yes we'll need to see a screenshot or something to help us debug it.
