Extended Validation SSL not always showing

Hello, we have discovered that something keeps preventing the green SSL from showing up on the checkout pages every time. We literally have to go into the PL Site Options, and click "Save Options" before logging out of the admin section. We've made all default image URLs to use https, i.e., custom logo, favicon, et cetera. Has this come up before?
