I saw an earlier thread on this, but the answer doesn't help my situation. I believe I'm on the most recent (not 2.4) PageLines version and I have no plugins activated.
My site is within a network of Wordpress sites, but is set up as a root so it should be free of any issues from the network.

I need to set up a left column for static text and have the features scrolling to the right.
Appreciate your help on getting this going.
I need to get this site built and operational for my client.
