Thanks, I have a main menu with child menues. If I click the main menu I want the first child menmu in the list to show up in the content area. Is it possible to have a tab-function for the child menues instead of just text?
ok, (I dont understand what you suggesting) normally I don't like to use dropdown menues so if there where some other solution to solved that i.e use secondary navigation or tab system and it is tricky to navigate in cell phones.
If you don't like drop down navigation, try using a series of secondary navigation menus and applying them to your pages individually.
Let's say you have a menu like this:
HOME | RECIPES | COURSES
Then under Courses (that page) you have
BREAD | APPETIZER | SOUP | SALAD | MEAT | FISH | PASTA | DESSERT | SNACKS
Under Breads (that page) you have
QUICK BREADS | WHITE | RYE | WHOLE GRAIN | CRUSTY
Then under Rye (that page) you have:
CRUSTY | SOFT | SEEDLESS | DARK | PUMPERNICKEL
and when someone gets to the Crusty page, they find a list of posts with the recipes for crusty rye breads.
It means lots of navigation for your visitors but they can always search for a specific recipe and each page they browse counts as a page view (or ad view if using ads).
